Thank you for taking part in our 2026 walk at Lakeside Park in Mississauga
We hope you can join us next year for Walk To Remember 2027
About the Event
Walk to Remember is an annual fundraising event that has brought our community together for 29 years. It’s a meaningful day where we walk, run, or roll in memory of our loved ones, share stories, and raise vital funds to support our small charity. Every donation helps us continue providing compassionate grief and loss support to those who need it.

The Power of Your Generosity
Grief is a journey no one should have to experience alone. Our annual event provides a chance to make a meaningful difference for those navigating one of life’s most challenging experiences. Your generosity ensures we can continue offering essential support to grieving children, teens, and adults. Here’s how your support makes an impact, on average:
1,000+
Average group visits a year across 220+ grief support groups, where individuals found solace and connection.
700+
Average one-to-one grief support sessions annually, providing a space for healing and reflection.
$40,000
Our 2026 fundraising goal to sustain these essential programs and services for 2027.
The more we raise, the more people we can support — helping these numbers grow and ensuring that more people receive the support they need. Every $20+ donation is eligible for a charitable tax receipt, making it easy to give while making a difference. Thank you for your unending support through my grief journey and for helping me rebuild my self esteem and confidence. This organization is one of the things I am grateful for and you have become part of my success story.

Walk to Remember 2026
Thank you for joining us at Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Lakeside Park in Mississauga for a meaningful day of remembrance, connection, and community, held in partnership with Bereaved Families of Ontario – Toronto.
We are so grateful to everyone who came together for this year’s Walk to Remember. Whether you walked, ran, rolled, gathered, face painted, danced, volunteered, fundraised, donated, or supported the Walk in another way, thank you!
This year, 179 people joined us, and more than 40 volunteers helped bring the walk together. Our community raised more than $11,000! Funds raised will directly help make grief support accessible: $35 can help provide a one-to-one peer support session, $468 can help train a new peer support volunteer, and $2,115 can help provide a six-week closed grief support group.
Thank you for walking alongside us, remembering with us, and helping create a space where people can feel supported and connected. We are so grateful to have you as part of our community.
We hope you can join us in September of 2027 for our 30th Walk to Remember
