2025 OFFICE ELEVATIONS
The Centre for Grief and Healing (Bereaved Families of Ontario - Halton/Peel) gratefully acknowledges the financial support of The Rotary Club of Mississauga. Thanks to their support, our office is becoming a more welcoming, accessible, and comfortable space for those navigating grief.
About the Project
We’re so grateful to The Rotary Club of Mississauga for awarding us a $3,500 grant to help transform our outdated office and group room—formerly a converted storage unit—into a more welcoming, accessible, and comforting space.
With their support, we’re adding a new mini fridge, fresh paint, a mural, and new chairs to better serve our community members attending our in-person peer support programs.

Office Refresh Complete
We've given our group room and office a gentle refresh to make it more welcoming, accessible, and calming for those navigating grief. The refreshed space now includes a fresh coat of paint, comfortable new chairs, a new coffee table, updated lighting, thoughtful décor touches, and a mini fridge to better support those spending time in the space during groups and meetings.
This transformation was truly a community effort. Our staff rolled up their sleeves and completed the painting themselves, joined by Lorraine and Moya from the Rotary Club of Mississauga, who generously volunteered their time to help bring the space to life. Through a recent mural initiative, a local artist—selected by our community—also created a meaningful mural that now anchors the group room wall.
Below you can explore the before-and-after photos and watch a reaction video capturing the moment the mural was revealed to Lorraine and Moya. We’re grateful to everyone who contributed to this refresh and helped create a more welcoming environment for connection and support!
