About The Event

Tamara Jurkin is a Holistic Sleep & Family Wellness Consultant and the Founder of Quiet Moments Wellness. She is an active member of the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants and has been working with children, families, adults and mental health in various roles for 20 years. Tamara is trauma informed and works with those who have anxiety, stress disorders, unresolved trauma and who have experienced loss optimize their sleep/meet family goals with practical and sustainable strategies. Tamara holds a Specialized Honors degree in Psychology and an Early Childhood Education diploma and has taken several other courses and certifications throughout the years to further her knowledge to best support her clients. She uses the pillars of wellness in her recommendations and her work is rooted in connection, attachment and emotional wellness. Her ongoing research interests include emotional wellness, parental mental health, attachment theory, trauma, stress disorders, sleep and holistic nutrition.
