About The Event
GriefTalks Description:
Father’s Day can bring a complicated mix of emotions for those grieving the loss of a father or father figure. For some, the grief is rooted in deep love and connection. For others, it may include pain, distance, unanswered questions, or the loss of the relationship they wish they’d had.
In this heartfelt and honest talk, Sasha Howell - author of Riding the Waves, A Guide to Grieving - shares reflections rooted in her own lived experience with grief. Through storytelling, reflection, grounding practices, and open conversation, Sasha explores the many layers of grief, memory, identity, and healing while creating space for the emotions that often go unspoken.
The session will also include time for a gentle audience Q&A, offering participants an opportunity for connection, reflection, and shared understanding.
