An Inclusive Community

FOSTERING HOPE & HEALING FOR INDIVIDUALS GRIEVING THE LOSS OF A LOVED ONE

FOOD AS COMMUNITY

Please join us virtually or in person for our first ever Food as Community episode on the evening of September 13th at 7:00 pm EDT. Food as Community is a fun-filled opportunity for our community to reconnect over food and to support BFO's work.

The Centre for Grief and Healing is proud to launch our first ever episode with Chef Phil DeWar, a well-known community activist and a Caribbean heritage ambassador. He will teach us how to cook Seared Cod Loin & citrus salsa, with harvest veggie spaghetti squash + cranberry & balsamic brussels sprouts.

CREATING A SAFE SPACE THAT FOSTERS HOPE

"We run from grief because loss scares us, yet our hearts reach towards grief because the broken parts of us want to mend."
