About The Event
GriefTalks Description:
Grief can be so hard as there’s much more than just losing your loved one. Sometimes we have to deal with people or groups who have caused us harm, or harm to our loved one. Society often tells us that we should forgive fast and move on. That we should forgive and forget. Yet this can feel impossible. If you’ve had difficulty in forgiving, you are not alone. Forgiveness, as with grief, cannot be rushed. In this talk you will learn a process for forgiveness and compassion that takes care of you and your well being. Self care is key. During the talk, some mindfulness exercises will also be offered. You’ll be invited to participate if you feel comfortable to do so.
About the Speaker: Grace Duong
