Join the Distress Centres of Greater Toronto, Bereaved Families of Ontario - Halton/Peel (Centre for Grief and Healing), and Finding our Power Together for Conversations of Hope - a heartfelt, in-person event on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute (209 Victoria Street Toronto, ON M5B 1X3) to mark International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day.
Each year, nearly 4,500 Canadians die by suicide, leaving behind 7 to 10 survivors who must navigate the difficult path of loss and healing. To support those impacted, we are hosting the second annual Conversations of Hope. This event is open to anyone affected by suicide loss, and offers a space for survivors to come together for healing conversations, reflection, and community. Join us for guest speakers and group discussions designed to help survivors connect, share, and heal.

While there is a fee to attend, we are committed to making sure financial constraints are not a barrier to participation. For more information or assistance, please contact Alex Shendelman, Manager of the Traumatic Loss Program, at ashendelman@dcogt.com.
